The development objectives, both economic and environmental, led us to design a combined structure for 21 houses BBC which offer an alternative to the classic single family suburban typology.
The site is located in a neighborhood undergoing urban renewal, along a farming road. This road has been downsized in order to reinforce the intimate residential scale and character of the project. The road sets the tone for the project.
We made use of innovative construction systems : wood frame and brick veneer.
This proven system, developed by our Partner KIJK & BOUW allows us to combine the constructive precision and thermal properties of wood with the longevity and durability of brick.
